We enjoyed decorating the house again for Halloween this year. We added a few new bits n pieces but the stalwarts of spiders, bats and ghosts were the main decorations through out the house.
The tombstones and skeletons buried in the front garden were a hit and took everyone by surprise when they came through the gate. We got some odd looks from the couriers/postman!
Just a few Halloween touches here and there to get into a spooky mood.
(nothing too scary or gruesome though!)
The boys love pulling out the familiar decorations each year and deciding on the perfect spot.
I usually like to make a Halloween themed treat for the boys afternoon tea. I went semi healthy this year with mandarins, mint and chocolate finger biscuits. I drew the faces on with food gel.
They were cute and really easy to make.
Noah had summer soccer to play in the afternoon but afterwards we stopped off at a few houses for trick or treating. It's always lovely to see the houses that get into the Halloween spirit and the delight it brings to the kids. Noah was thrilled with his "candy" haul!
