 I've put together my most liked photos on Instagram for 2022.

A mix of a giant fiddle leaf fig, our Hawaii holiday, our completed home renovations and some Easter decor.

My top 9 photos on Instagram - 2020

 As this year comes to a close, it is nice to take the time to look back at the photos and moments captured throughout the year. Even though we had a quiet year in comparison to other years, I took time to document the everyday and celebratory moments. 

On Instagram my most liked photos were....

1.

We completed our office space / studio apartment mid year. 

This fiddle leaf fig loves the light up there and is going great guns!

Our Christmas tree this year

Noah's room. It continues to evolve as he gets older. 

Simple and pared back with all his toys stored in the cupboards.

Another photo of the office space. I love the all white palette with a few natural rattan tones thrown in.

This cupboard from Freedom holds all the office supplies and printer.

Our bedroom. I still love to change up my linen looks weekly. 

The pop of leopard is always a hit!

Easter egg hunt. Love the matching bunny pj's.

Finn turned 18 in August in the middle of Covid lockdown restrictions. 

We tried to make the occasion as special as we could for him and this banner was part of it.

9.

This year's Christmas decorations. I love to add a few new ones each year and my most favourite find was the white kombi. As Simon has a kombi that is his pride and joy, I just had to get them!

I don't post as much as I used to but I still like to document our lives as I love to look back at old photos and posts and enjoy the memories they conjure up x

I love sharing photos on Instagram and it is always interesting to see which photos resonate the most with everyone that follows my page @honeyandfizz

It looks like my most liked photos were mainly about food! The fun snacks I make for the kids and cute ideas I try out after seeing them on Pinterest are up there. It has inspired me to look for some more to try.  I'm glad those beautiful peonies made it too! Also who doesn't love birthday balloons?!

Food, especially cakes were a winner again! Also our bedroom makeover made it in too.

Home Tour - Nursery of Van Vine via Tiny Tribe Magazine

Sophie and Dale Vine from The Block have designed the most creative and beautifully serene nursery for their new little boy Van.

I love the neutral colour scheme and the woodsy boho vibe.

Also how clever and adorable was their Birth Announcement?!

This is one of my favourite nurseries I have seen this year. I love that is is quite original and a little different than the usual kids rooms that you see.

Still loving Instagram

So I'm still in love with Instagram. I really thought I would have tired of it by now but I just love the quick pops of visual beauty and a sneak peek into people's lives and homes.

I had an extra nice week on Instagram this week when one of my pics was selected in the Fab 4, Fat Mum Slim's Photo a Day challenge.
The prompt was blue. I wrote blue in blueberries :)

The other wonderful thing was having the gorgeous Cherie saying so many nice things about my Instagram feed and having so many lovely comments. It really made my week! I just love the community feel of Instagram and how nice everyone is.

And this morning whilst I was flicking through the Sunday Style section of the papers I came across another one of my Instagram pics. Just a little bit exciting!

So if you are not on Instagram, make sure you pop over and take a look at this fabulous place!

Sometimes it's the little things that can add a real lift to your day.

Up for a Challenge.... or 3!

So it is the first of the month today and everyone seems to be launching a new Photo Challenge!

I love to try and play along so I will be giving all 3 a go this month.

I know I probably won't be able to maintain all 3 until the end but it will be nice to pick and choose from different lists for inspiration.

 The Shoppegirls are doing a 30 days of Spring Fashion, this will be fun!

Jen is doing another Interiors Challenge. 

I found this one a little hard to maintain last time as there is only so many things in my house I can photograph unless I was out and about and had my eyes peeled for things off the list. 

But I will see how I go :)

Chantelle is doing September Photo a Day again. How big has this challenge gotten?! It's gone global!

I love this challenge and find it a great part of my day.

I love the challenge of thinking of a slightly different interpretation :)

Of course I will be sharing all my photos on Instagram :)

I was so happy with it and it is lovely to have it sitting out and be able to flick through it.

Some of the photos were too special to just sit on my phone.I had a couple made for pressies too.I had them done through Keepsy,you can find out more info here :)

I always knew I was snap happy and all these photos and challenges have confirmed it!

June Photo a Day

Well I have completed June Photo a Day with Fatmumslim. 

I am still enjoying the challenge of the photos and I have decided to do July Photo a Day but also try out a new Interiors Photo a Day with Jen from Interiors Addict.

As some of you would know Instagram was down for most of Saturday and isn't totally back to normal today. I had major withdrawals ;) It's definitely my most favourite form of Social Media.

I also went to Blogopolis on Saturday which was great. I learnt so much and came away with heaps to think about. I will do a post on it tomorrow, a bit of a wrap up and notes I took.

Well I missed out on the last week of the March photo a day challenge, held by Fat Mum Slim but I have had a pretty good run with it so far.

 I'm still loving Instagram and the challenge of taking a photo and using my imagination. Here are my pics from March :)

Another Photo Challenge done!

So I completed my 2nd month of Fat Mum Slim's photo a day challenge.I am still enjoying it and Instagram has become a little bit addictive! 

I am going to do the March challenge as well to keep me occupied so I am not constantly counting down the days until bub's is due.
