Monday's Must Haves

I've popped together a few things that have caught my eye over the last couple of weeks.

They are all either white, black or marble. A splash of gold has snuck in too. That seems to be the palette I'm attracted to at the moment.

Although I will never totally let go of colour in my home, I can feel it becoming a little more subdued at the moment.

Spring has sprung!

Yesterday was the first day of Spring and we were rewarded with a gorgeous sunny day. After 2 weeks of solid rain it was so lovely to be out and about in the sunshine.

Here are a few snaps I took on my walk yesterday. 

Mondays are always a good day for me as the kids are at school/kindy and it's Simon's day off. 

It's nice to have a slow day to start the week after the rush of the weekend.

Although the rain was back again today, I hope the sun comes back soon to stay as I am so ready to be outside more, open up the house and give everything a Spring clean.

Something pretty for a Monday morning.

Hope you all have a fantastic week :)

Today I'm off to do a little shopping for clothes for myself and the boys.

I really noticed the cooler weather on the weekend and when I went to pull out something warm all my clothes were looking a little tired! 

The boys have grown out of last winters jeans and hoodies so off to the shops I go!

I love Mondays!!

I love Mondays! I know, I know it sounds a little strange but here is why.

To me it feels a little like an extension of the weekend. 

My husband works on Saturdays (he has his own real estate business) so his days off are Sunday & Monday. The boys go to school and kindy , so Monday is a day where hubby and I can spend some time together without the kiddies.

and again....

Today we went for a walk , (we usually walk from Queenscliff beach to Manly beach) then shared a mezze platter at our fave local cafe Ash's Table. 

Simon and I don't usually have dinner after one of these for lunch!

It was nice just to have this time together. Now off to pick up the boys and get into the after school routine.
