Name: Noah (2)
Location: Sydney, Australia
Room Size: 3.8m x 2.6m
With three sons ages 2-12, Simone of Honey & Fizz is an expert at putting together little boys' rooms. All three of her boys' rooms are full of graphic patterns, color, and most importantly, fun.
Her youngest son, Noah, calls this fantastic space home.
Although he has some of his brother's hand-me-down pieces, one certainly can't say that his space isn't special or unique to him. From the "Noah" decal on the wall to the giant teddy that his brothers gave him when he was born, his mama made sure that while his space may be last, it certainly isn't the least.
How would you describe the look and feel of this room?Fun, modern, and able to transition from a toddler room to an older boy's room. Boyish. As Noah is my 3rd son I only know how to do boys' rooms!
What is your favorite piece or element?I love the mix of black and white elements with the color coming from Noah's books, toys and artwork. I love the giant teddy bear, as that was a present to Noah from his older brothers when he was born. Also, his bed was his brothers too. I find it sweet that they have all transitioned out of the cot into the same toddler bed.
What was the biggest challenge decorating this room?As the room is quite small there was no room to build in a wardrobe, so all of Noah's clothes are kept in the one dresser. This is fine as a toddler - the challenge will be as he grows older and his clothes get bigger!
What do your friends say about the room?Everyone loves the room. They love the style and the little touches like the wall stickers. I love that they change the look of the room easily but are not a big commitment as they are easy to remove. The lightning bolt light is also a cool alternative to a night light, and the Noah wall decal personalizes the space.
Perhaps more importantly, what does Noah think about the room?
Noah loves his room. He loves his little stack of books next to the bed, and we find him each morning in bed reading. He can also reach his toys easily. I have popped most of his books up a bit higher at the moment as he was going through a stage of tearing the pages out.

Do you have any advice for parents creating a room for their child?Always look for furniture/decor that can grow with your child. This way you don't have to redo their room too often if suddenly their space is looking too young for them. Let them have input and display their favorite toys and books. We bought the tiger poster as that was the first animal and sound that Noah knew.
If money were no object, what's your dream source?I don't think you have to spend a lot of money to create a great space. I'm really happy with how Noah's room looks now, but maybe a bigger bed with storage underneath would be fantastic as he gets older.

Love this room! Saw it on apartment therapy! Can you share the source of the super hero dolls and the wall stickers around them? Would love to get them for my little guy.
