My little job list.

Well I'm back from our few days in Melbourne. We had a wonderful time and the weather was lovely. Not too cold at all!

So back to reality today, I have started compiling a little job list now that you can really feel that Spring is on its way.
A spring clean if you will!

So first on my list. Some gardening.
I want to replant our front window box with some hydrangeas.

I think I would prefer the white/green variety. But doesnt the soil affect the colour? Better check on that!
I also want to replant my little barrels. I was so proud of them last year! They lasted for ages.

This was my barrels last xmas. I really should have swept the doorstep!

My windows really need to be cleaned. I have been thinking about this for ages but didnt really worry during winter. But I cant put it off.
I'm wondering whether to hire someone or just bite the bullet and do it myself. I have lots of windows!

Next just some spring cleaning. I love the look of these cleaning products. So chic!

Next, a few new additions to my wardrobe.
 Some soft, pretty colours, springlike.

Then to plan a catch up with friends. To enjoy some of this beautiful weather coming up.
It is so nice in the middle of the day but still becomes chilly once the sun goes down.
Better clean off the bbq too!

Hmmm, just a few things.
I love the start of a new season!

What is on your spring clean list?
Or are you a sensible soul that maintains everything year round?

  1. I should start thinking about spring cleaning too, our back garden def needs a good once over with weeding and pruning. That is such a nice photo of you with your flower at the front door. Oh yeah and hydrangers do change colour depending on the soil (is it pH balance?) I had blue one year, then white and green the next...???

  2. I was only thinking last night that our place needs a good spring clean - windows are definitely on my list. I love those barrel planters of yours - so pretty!

  4. What a lovely post. I was thinking of spring and getting quite excited but it's turned very frosty again in Melbourne..I'm definitely not the year round maintenance kind of gal, but I'm striving to be. My list for Spring is endless, really! Rachaelxx

  5. Simone what a lovely post, a great reminder that the nice weather & all the beauty that comes along with it , is on the way! I love hydrangeas but didn't realize the colour was influenced by the soil, thanks for the heads up!! Are there really people out there that maintain things year round, hats off to them!!
