Our second day in Tasmania was another full one.
We spent a couple of hours at the MONA museum, self described as old art, new art, wine, restaurants, dark corners, nice views, music. It was a cool experience, definitely worth a visit. Having a car made such a difference in being able to explore different places so easily.
We then drove to the Cascade Brewery for lunch and a tasting.
The original brewery is currently getting renovated but the tours and tastings are still running.
Simon loved their stout.
After lunch, as we were close to Mt Wellington we decided to drive up to the lookout. The winding roads up the mountain are scenic and the view from the top is stunning. The temperature really dropped once at the peak and the wind was wild. We were grateful for our jackets!
Another lovely day that ended with cocktails at Evolve and dinner.
Day 3 to come...
