Finn is 18!

Our eldest son Finn turned 18 on the weekend. Such a milestone! 

Earlier in the year we had big plans for a party with family and friends. With all of the Covid restrictions and family across the border, we celebrated instead with a birthday banner, presents in the morning, a lunch out and a cake with immediate family.  

Finn then had a small gathering with his friends on the Saturday. 

It was a big weekend and full of lovely reminiscing

of when he was small. He was the first grandchild on both sides for 5 years and Simon and I were the first of our friends to have a baby, so he had a lot of attention for those first 5 years!

It was quite emotional really! We hopefully will get a chance to celebrate with extended family at the end of the year. We had some beer holders made up to send out to family that wasn't here.

I can't believe our baby is 18. It's such a cliche but the years really do fly by!
