It was an Easter unlike any other that we have celebrated. Like most people it was a quiet weekend spent at home with just the 5 of us.
I wanted it to still feel festive so we had the Easter decorations throughout the house, Easter crafts, a seafood lunch on Good Friday and our traditional Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday morning and then phone calls with our extended family.
I put together an Easter basket for each of the boys with some new winter pj's, books, painting projects and of course chocolate. I also enjoyed pottering around the house freshening up the rooms and adding fresh flowers to each space. There was definitely a bunny and pink flower theme happening!
Simon also continued working on the studio apartment, painting the floors and installing the kitchen cabinets. More details to come.
