Back from Bali
We're just back from an amazing week in Bali.
It was our first time there as a family and we really loved it.
We stayed in the quieter part of Bali in Jimbaran Bay, in a gorgeous resort enjoying the oodles of pools, restaurants and lazing around.
Finn and Simon ventured out for a surf at Uluwatu which was a huge thrill for Finn. Jasper loved the Kids Club and did some wonderful activities such as a baby turtle release, fishing, kite making etc. Noah loved all the swimming and the free gelato!
Simon and I got a couple of hours to ourselves through the day to lounge by the pool which was utter bliss and dinner out together each night. Such a luxury!
We spent most days in the resort enjoying the warm weather and we ventured into Kuta for one day to show the boys a different side to Bali and experience the streets, food and shopping.
Here are some photos of the trip-
I would love to go back and explore different areas. The week just flew by.
Have you been to Bali? Where do you like to stay?

I love Bali and am split between the beaches of Nusa Dua or the tree tops of Ubud.. both rather magical x
ReplyDeleteOh having only been there recently for the first time, I was just drooling over your pics. I cant decide where I like most in Bali. I love the beauty of Nusa Dua, the serenity of Ubud and the vibe of Seminyak. I just LOVE Bali full stop! Glad you guys had a wonderful time x
ReplyDeleteS, looks like a beautiful holiday with your boys. Would have been a cultural experience for them too.
ReplyDeleteHaven't been to Bali yet, but would love to.

Hi Simone, I saw that you were there the same time as me (LOL was stalking you on Instagram) we have been to Bali more times than I can count, it truly is a wonderful family holday there is something for everyone...our holiday this time was quite different having teenage children, we chose to stay in villas and I must say could never go back to sharing a pool again! The restaurants and vibe in Seminyak was amazing and the food...wow I have never eaten so much GOOD food, then we headed to Ubud, again another villa this time it was owned by an Australian interior designer (need I say more) right in the rice paddies...amazing! Looks like you had the perfect holiday, I have stayed at that hotel before, its amazing and perfect for your aged kids, it ticked all the boxes..glad you had a great time, welcome back!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks great!
ReplyDeleteI go to Bali for the first time in a few weeks. Your post and instagram got me even more excited!
