This week I realised I have a climber on my hands! I'm having to be extra vigilant!
Here is Noah climbing up the slide into the cubby house :)
This week I realised that the combination of books and flowers make me happy. I'm trying out these potted flowers to see if they last longer as the fresh bunches aren't lasting as long now that we are using the heater a little more.
This week I realised I am a sucker for cute packaging!
I'm a marketers dream :)
This week I attended the Mothers Day Mass at Finn's school and loved seeing all the boys with their mum's & grandma's. I got a little teary! I love that my boys are super affectionate,
I hope it never ends x
And this week I am knee deep in packing for our trip to Fiji.
We are heading over there for a friends wedding and I've heard the weather is divine and a hot 30 degrees every day! Packing for a family of 5 is a lot of stuff! I know we will mainly live in our swimming gear but I am one of those people that must take something just in case and of course all the gear that goes with the baby. I am tossing up whether to take the pram or not?
Any suggestions?
When we went to Bali with Evie (11 months) we left the pram at home but took a maclaren stroller with us. We wouldn't have survived without it, there was a lot of walking to and from places. They dont charge for a stroller/pram on the plane so there is no harm in taking it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess, yes think I will take it x
DeleteI am a sucker for cute packaging. I would have definitely bought that drink.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately it wasn't as delicious as it looked! ;)
DeleteYeah we took a lightweight stroller for our 9 month old- and we're pleased we did :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle, we only have the big pram but think I will take it x
DeleteDefinitely take the pram!!!!! Even just to walk around the resort to get him to sleep during the day! We took our 9 month old to a wedding in fiji 3 years ago and had a wonderful time. We used the pram at least once a day! Enjoy beautiful Fiji
ReplyDeleteoh thanks for the advice Bronwyn, it seems to be a must! x
DeleteWe took our 2 year old to Thailand and we took the stroller and are very glad we did. He would sleep in it while we were out and about during the day and again at night when we were out to dinner. The airline made it very easy to take as they had it ready and waiting when we got off each flight so we had it through the airports (was also handy to have to load stuff in).
ReplyDeleteThanks Nikki, good to know! Will definitely take it x
DeleteOh what a lovely post Simone. Noah is such a beautiful boy... and best of luck with the climbing, I have a couple of those and it's heart stopping at times. Love the potted cyclamen, they are so gorgeous at the moment and can be found relatively cheap at store like Woolies too. I am a bit of a marketer's dream too, get waaaay too drawn in by pretty packages. And Oooo Fiji, how exciting! I have never been there, but on the pram subject, my opinion is if they're under about 2.5, it's always worth having a stroller on hand xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous family you have and a lovely blog! Good luck packing for Fiji - I struggle packing for myself so I don't know how I'd go doing it for 5!! Enjoy the trip x
ReplyDeleteLovely inspiring post here, definitely made me smile. Got my eye on your next posts.
