We had a gorgeous day yesterday.
It was our little niece and nephews christening , so we spent it surrounded by our wonderful family.
My brother and sister in law are down from QLD with their 3 kids under 3, my other brother and sister in law came down from the Central Coast with their 2 girls and we were there with our 2 boys.
It was so cute to see all the little cousins playing together so happily, lots of games of running, chasings and bike riding.
Anyhoo while we were all together we decided to organise a photo shoot to capture our families all together and with the grandparents.
Lets just say that I dont think we will be attempting the grandparents and the 7 grandchildren shot again anytime soon! Lots of tears and wriggles. It was a little bit funny to watch :)
I had it quite easy as my boys are that little bit older and easier and Finn (8) was in his element rounding up the little cousins and bringing them back for the photos.
So we started the photos at Manly Dam, christening at 11.30am (church), lunch and playing with all the relatives (I got out of making dessert as my sister in law had ordered 100 cupcakes!) and then it was off to another photo shoot.
Finn and Simon had been approached to "model" with our restored kombi for a clothing label called "Lix". They will be on posters in surf shops etc. It was all very cool and they got lots of free clothes, badges, stickers etc. Finn felt very special and it was nice for the boys to do this together. I will show you those pics when we get them :)
So that was our weekend, what did you get up to?
Oh WOW - I'm in love with your Kombi! What a glorious weekend you had. We also had a big weekend with lots of cousins - must be the time of year for it!
