It's a fine line with boys' rooms isn't it. They either look too young and babyish or like you said, can look a bit girlie. I'm trying to come up with a theme for my 2 boys for the new place but I want to make sure they don't outgrow the look in 2 years time. Somethng that will grow with them. I'm thinking African/Jungle safari theme for one room and a red, blue and white theme in the other. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Have a great Monday. X Briohny.
Hey Simone, not sure if you caught my little boys makeover but ist on my blog if you want to check it out. I found it hard to not imprint a theme yet but still make it easily transitionable as I know its not far away before he starts asking for his own ideas to be implemented...I hope you have fun researching I love your inspiration shots so far......
The angel wing chair is divine! Thanks for the inspiration Simone, im making over my little sisters room while she is in hospital and that chair will look absolutely amazing in it. Hope your having a lovely Monday...
What a great book - might have to hunt one down. I know what you mean about kid's and toys - it's hard to avoid the explosion of colour and plastic at times :)
We are in the middle of doing my youngest sons room so he is sleeping on the floor in our room at present. Looking forward to seeing what you do. We are going to attempt to paint stripes and if it works, I will post! ;-)
