My birthday celebrations - 44!

I've had a beautiful few days enjoying my birthday celebrations. 44 this year!

It kicked off with flowers, gifts and phone calls from family and friends, a donut cake and a dinner out with family. There was a brunch with friends the next day and more cake...

Then Simon and I had a night away and a beautiful dinner at Jonah's at Whale Beach.
It was a perfect end to my birthday celebrations.
I feel truly spoiled and ready for the adventures of another year x

Noah turns 9!

There was a birthday in the house yesterday, Noah turned 9!

We celebrated on the weekend with his friends from school with a bowling and laser tag party and a soccer themed cake.

Then we had presents and a family birthday dinner last night with a chocolate sundae in lieu of a cake. Noah loves tacos and as his birthday fell on a Tuesday it was perfect for a Taco Tuesday/ Birthday Fiesta theme. I picked up the party decorations from Big W and decorated the table with a few bits n pieces from around the house.

The years are flying by and I can't believe the baby of the family is 9 and getting so grown up!

I've popped up some photos from his birthday celebrations below...

Lately....

I thought I would pop in and share some photos of what has been happening lately....

We have had a big milestone celebrating Finn's year 12 Graduation Day. It was a unique occasion due to COVID as all parents had to watch via a live stream but it still felt special and we felt part of the celebration. Luckily we were able to celebrate with Finn's friends and parents at a lunch afterwards which helped make the day memorable.

In other less exciting news I have been giving the house a spring refresh with moving things around, adding new art, cushions and some new plants to the garden. I always love changing things up after winter. I've also been enjoying doing different walks through out the week. We are spoilt for choice along our beautiful coast line!

Some photos from our week below...

How has your week been?

Happy birthday Noah!

Our littlest is 5 today! I can't believe how the years have flown!

He woke up bright and early to find a big 5 balloon in his room. We all piled onto the bed to watch him open his presents. He was very excited with all his gifts.

Noah took some cupcakes into kindy to celebrate with his friends, he said that was the best part of his day. We'll have a little celebration with family on the weekend as well.

We love you gorgeous Noah. Happy birthday beautiful boy xx

My Mother's Day - 2016

I've had the loveliest Mother's Day being spoilt by my beautiful boys (husband included)

As a present to myself, I couldn't resist buying a few bunches of tulips with the groceries on Friday and the house is full of pink blooms. Gorgeous!

The boys let me have a little sleep in and then presented me with breakfast, presents + cuddles in bed.
I love the hand made cards the boys make at kindy/school. They always come out with the funniest reasons on why they love you! I always keep the boys hand written cards as they are the best gift ever

We took our annual photo of our legs in bed and Finn has finally taken over as the tallest. I love having these momentos of how they have grown over the last few years.

My little #1 mum trophy makes the best vase :)

We had an afternoon tea with my mum (Simon's parents are away at the moment) and Simon made a pink pavlova in honour of Mother's Day. He always uses the Donna Hay recipe , he added a splash of pink food colouring this time. His pav's are always delicious and a favourite around here.

Topped with cream, raspberries and a drizzle of passionfruit it was amazing!

A little bag of goodies and a pot of tulips for my mum.

Mother's Day afternoon tea. Champagne + cake is the perfect combination.

Love you Mum!

I received a Methuselah of pink champagne (6 litres!) as one of my gifts.
I'll have to have a party so I can drink it!

I felt very loved and blessed over the weekend.
How was your weekend? I hope you did something lovely xx
