Wish List

A few things  I have been loving lately...

Sometimes I can go for ages without seeing anything new that I love, but lately lots of things have been popping up on my Instagram feed that have really caught my eye.

I feel like I am ready to move on from winter and am ready to rearrange the house and add a few new bits n pieces.

Leopard Love!

It seems like the love for leopard print is at it's peak at the moment. Everywhere you look there are variations of the print. I'm loving all of the options available in both bedding and in fashion.

I recently purchased this Adairs quilt cover and am so happy with the fresh feel it gives our room!

I've also got a more subtle leopard print in the living room with the table lamp shade.
I've had this for ages and I covered the lampshade myself with some fabric from Spotlight.

I've popped together a few of my other leopard print favourites......

Wednesday Wish List.

Happy Wednesday!
Here are a few things I've bought lately or that are on my wish list.

Recently I changed up a couple of the artworks in our home and replaced them with these 2 beautiful Moroccan style prints. I love them! Especially the pink one. Soooo pretty!

The rug is one I have in 2 of the boys rooms. It is so soft and cosy for winter.

Accessories are a fun way to refresh a simple outfit. The floral turban is a new style for me but I'm keen to try it out. Also lately I can't get enough of star + moon jewellery.
This necklace combines them perfectly.

You can't beat a pink bathmat and a snuggly throw. In pink as well.
There seems to be a theme happening!

This mug would be a cute gift for your BFF.

Cold Snap - cosy knits + jumpers

A cold snap has been forcast for this weekend and I'm definitely feeling the chill in the air!
I've put together a selection of cosy knits and jumpers. A perfect mix of ones to curl up at home in or to wear if you have to venture out in the cold.
My favourites for winter are always a grey knit or grey marle sweatshirt. I love the combination of grey and denim. But this winter I've been drawn to blush and pink.
Do you have a favourite colour knit that's your go to?

Here are a few options to add to your winter wardrobe........

Mother's Day Gift Guide

It's Mother's Day on Sunday and I've put together a little gift guide with some ideas on pressies for your mum and mother figures or maybe just as a hint for the husband and kids.

At this time of year as the weather cools down, I always love new pj's and lounge wear or a new pair of boots.  Some jewellery and bath products to pamper yourself with is always great.

Or you could choose something that the whole family can benefit from like the Vitamix.
We love ours and have gotten so much use out of it making acai bowls, smoothis and soups.

Here are a few of my picks -

Of course a bunch of flowers, breakfast in bed, gifts chosen lovingly from the school stall are always amazing. I love the pride and effort the boys take with their homemade mother's day gifts each year.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Sunday morning will bring :)

How about you? Anything planned for Sunday?

More is MORE - Jewellery I'm loving

Lately I've been attracted to the look of stacks of bangles and fingers covered in rings. Delicate golds and a few stones and chunks of crystal thrown in here and there.  A kind of boho, eclectic vibe. I usually stick to costume jewellery with one or 2 really special (sentimental) pieces as I like to mix things up but I've had my eye on a Cartier Love bracelet for a long time. A truly classic piece that I could see myself wearing forever.....

Do you feel more is more when it comes to jewellery? Or do you prefer to keep it simple?

An exciting collaboration - Jean Paul Gaultier for Target Australia

Target has announced an exciting collaboration with designer Jean Paul Gaultier which launches in Australia on the 10th March 2016.

It consists of both fashion and homewares and Jean Paul Gaultiers signature stripes can be seen throughout in several pieces.

Here are my picks from the collection -

I can never get enough stripes and I'm really loving the blue and white theme in the homewares.
I will definitely be picking up this teapot for my collection!

Coaster set - $15

Strip Quilt Cover - Queen bed - $129 / King Bed - $139

Espresso 4 piece set - $25

Tin Canister with Lid - $20

Long Line Padded Bra Nude - $49

Kids T Shirt - $10

Stripe Sailor Top - $39

Cheeseboard + Knife Set - $49

Biker Jacket - $299

Don't you think the bras are reminiscent of that iconic Madonna photo?!

"I'm proud of this collaboration and I'm excited to see Australia's reaction."

"I have looked for inspiration in many ways but one of the constants is the street and what people are wearing. I believe in fashion that you can wear every day not just on a catwalk - which is really what Target stands for at its core"

Jean Paul Gaultier

The Jean Paul Gaultier collection for Target Australia is both affordable and stylish and is an accessible way to achieve that designer look.  The collection launches in stores on the 10th March.

Who will be popping in to pick up a couple of pieces?
