A portrait of my sons, once a week, every week in 2014

Noah - it was too windy for the beach so it was a surf lesson in the pool instead.

Jasper - loves the pool so much!
Finn - decided on a skate session instead

At home this week - Stills

The holiday vibe is still continuing around here.
We're enjoying lazy days at home and just pottering around.

Water bombs galore

Yellow roses around the house

Endless dips in the pool

There is always someone hungry and watermelon is the best and so summery!

Finn was so sweet and set up this movie scenario for his brothers and even joined in. Awww x

A new plant for inside. Loving the time to take trips to the nursery and having Simon home to help out with some jobs

Different beaches every day. We're so lucky to have so many gorgeous beaches so close. Aren't the colours amazing?

Stills - A weekly collection. At home.

The lightbox this week.
I never get tired of creating new messages!

A quiche I threw together with leftovers in the fridge.
We go through so many eggs around here. How about you?

How delicious does this raspberry, peach & lychee ice cream cake look?

I got to spend a lazy hour or so in bed on Sunday.
Such a luxury :)

I'm loving having another book worm in the house.

We had a garage sale on the weekend and these two were the biggest help. I didn't have to do much!
How's your week been?

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care........

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.

So the babes are in bed sleeping, waiting for Santa.
I think it was the easiest bed time ever!

We had a late night last night as we went into the city to see the Christmas Lights at St Mary's Cathedral. They were absolutely beautiful! There was something about the gorgeous architecture of the building and the combination of the lights.

Here are some photos from tonight.

Don't you just love the magic of Christmas Eve?

Easter 2012.

We've had a gorgeous, relaxing Easter this year.

We've been at home, with visits from a few friends and family. An exciting project for the boys is getting built in the backyard and we have enjoyed walks in the sunshine.

My little bunnies :)

Noah's first Easter.

Lots of chocolate has been consumed!

A skate ramp is getting built in the backyard!

Fun with Cousins on Easter Sunday.

A walk followed by a late lunch.

So it's back to reality tomorrow. Simon is back at work after 2 1/2 weeks at home. I'm going to miss him! He has really been fabulous around home as I got used to our new routine with Noah.

Although it is school holidays, so life is not totally back to normal. It will be lovely to stretch out the "slow pace" for another couple of weeks :)

How was your weekend?

1 week on :)

This time last week we welcomed our gorgeous Noah to the world.

We have had a lovely time this week doing nothing much at all :)
Simon has been home and has been fantastic in doing all the housework and getting the boys ready for school so I have had time to rest and feed Noah and not had to worry about doing much else.
It feels like Noah has been with us forever.

Hello baby! Welcome home :)

1 week old :)

Couldn't resist a mini photo shoot. Fresh out of the bath and a white Bonds wondersuit.Does it get any better?!

Sock monkey gifted to Noah from the gorgeous Claire at Scissors Paper Rock

2 very tired but oh so happy parents!

Thank you so much for all your gorgeous best wishes and congratulations. It meant so much to me to be able to share my news with you all. Loving all the love!

I'm still here :)

I'm still here, as I have been a bit quiet this week I had a few texts and emails wondering if I had the baby  yet :) No, not yet. So this week has been about pottering around around the house and buying those last minute essential things.

I'm talking blue homewares here! I had this uncontrollable urge to buy some new navy cushions and quilt cover. It had to be done! Although I am thinking of adding a touch of pink to the scheme as I am loving navy and pink together at the moment.

Here are a few pics of the new homewares :)

I have been visiting all of your blogs but as I am too tired/lazy to sit with the laptop, I have been reading them on my phone which makes commenting a bit harder. So I am keeping up to date with you all :)

Also just to add something else to the mix, as you know I sell prints over on my facebook page and I have decided to do cards as well! Just something else to throw into the mix and keep myself busy. I will be selling them as a pack of 4 (assorted) and I thought they would be perfect to give with a gift and then your friend could keep the card and frame it. Cards are 5 x 7, so they fit in any standard frame.

I will be launching them on my facebook page either tonight or over the weekend. Pop over if you're interested :)

The Organised/Shopping Phase.

So, this far into my pregnancy I am currently in the organising/shopping phase. I think that comes right before nesting :)

First jobs were the baby's room and sorting out Finn and Jasper's rooms. Even though I am a ruthless culler of junk/toys, their rooms are constantly filling up. How does this happen?!

The baby's Expedit, plenty of room left to fill!

Jasper's Expedit below.

To get everyone organised it means storage, storage, storage!
This meant a trip to Ikea and the Expedit bookcases were on my list. They are not original or exciting but for us they work perfectly to showcase toys and books in the neatest way possible.
Baskets were a must too.

Also I was over the green I had in the living areas. So I shopped my own cupboards and bought out my floral cushions with some blue to mix up the vibe a bit. Flowers courtesy of Valentines Day :)

Did you notice my white lounges in the main living area?

I ended up having to return our brown lounges after 5 years as the leather was starting to peel away! Turns out they were a faulty product and the store I bought them from gave me new lounges (after much chasing and harrassing I might add!)I'm really happy with them. The white makes the space so much lighter.

I also couldn't resist buying up some teensy baby clothes.
There seems to be a theme happening :)

So as most of the things I have been buying lately has been for the baby I will show you the nursery next week :)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend
