A Wreath Gathering

I've had the most perfect Sunday afternoon.

I spent it at a Wreath Gathering hosted by my clever sister in law Emma(@emmaduckworthstylist)& Erika (@erikarax)
- their Instagram names-

They had set up a gorgeous table under a beautiful old tree in Centennial Park.

With so much delicious food and glasses of Sparkling.
I could have sat under that tree all day.

Then dessert was served. The most divine cakes from Flour and Stone. I'm still thinking about that Lemon Drizzle cake. Yum!

We then sat down and made our wreaths using masses of gum leaves and gorgeous native flowers. I went for something simple.

It was a really nice way to spend an afternoon. I caught up with some bloggy friends and brought along my mum, mother in law and best friend as their Christmas presents. A real girly day out.

I popped my wreath straight up on the door when I got home and the boys rummaged through my goody bag and snaffled up the Byron Bay cookies and some leftover cake.

all pics are my own.

  1. This is just utterly gorgeous! I'm dying to make one. I think I'd add a ribbon bow to mine at the base! So beautiful though. Job well done.

    1. It was really beautiful Laura. Yes the wreath needs something down the bottom, I was thinking of a chalkboard tag with Merry Christmas on it. x

  2. The table settings are so pretty. Looks like it was a great day out and to come home with your wreath too, not just a fun day out but practical too (or so you can tell the hubs!) ;)
