Did you do this?

When I was in high school my best friend and I used to call each other before going to a disco or a party to see what the other was wearing. Then we would co-ordinate in similar outfits :)

We always had a similar style and when getting ready for a night out in our 20's we used to call each other beforehand as well but this time to check that we were NOT wearing the same thing. (this came about after an embarrassing night out in matching jeans & tops!)

While reading Grazia the other day I saw sisters Jess & Stef Dadon attending Paris Fashion Week wearing co-ordinating clothes.
I kinda liked it. Not that I'll be doing it anytime soon ;)

How about your kids? Are you ever tempted to dress them in matching clothes?
I admit sometimes on occasions I will dress the boys in all the same colour.
They all look so handsome in blue :)

  2. I am drooling over the blue outfit image! Gorgeous! I have always wanted to dress my 4 girls in the same dress for a photo shoot but never done it. As the mother of twins though strangely enough I have rarely dressed them in the same clothes. I guess I wanted them to always feel like an individual. Would be fun to dress all nine of us in the same colour for a photo shoot. Maybe one day I will make it happen. N x

    1. I love the blue too Naomi, especially with a pop of pink! I think that would look gorgeous for the whole family to co-ordinate for a photo shoot. Maybe one day x

  3. I dress my two boys in similar things, but now they like to choose colours or prints themselves. Now I have a daughter my husbands always saying ,'don't you have an outfit like that?' so I must be unconsciously making a mini me!

    1. Yes, when the kids want to have a say in their clothes you have to just let them go :) How cute, would love to see you and your mini me's outfits x

  4. My sister and I are 18 onths apart in age and Mum often dresses us in the same clothes, but different colours. I didn't mind at all but everyone though we were twins.
I adore the blur top with the pink spots/pompoms. Gorgeous!

    1. Oh God, I meant to say Mum "used to" dress us like that, not "dresses", that would be very odd! We stopped doing it when we were rather young!

  5. Haha Sarah, I laughed at this. What a controlling mother you have ;) My sister and I were matchy matchy at one stage too. It's fun to look back at the photos x
