Look at the Birdie!

I'm loving the Cockatoo Exhibition by Leila Jeffreys currently showing at the Tim Olsen Gallery.
There is something so fresh and quirky about them.
They would be the perfect pop of colour on a white wall. Hmmm, no I don't think I have the space :)

Here are some of my favourites.

"The works are printed at more than a metre tall, so they can be viewed at "human size", says Leila Jeffreys. I want people to see not just their beauty but their wonderful characters."

I also love these Budgies from another show.

So what do you think?
Would you have a birdie on your wall?

Wild Cockatoos is at the Tim Olsen Gallery from November 7 to 25.

  1. Oh yes, I think they're wonderful! I would happily have one on my wall. I'm sure I cant afford to though :)

  2. Haha, this did make me smile Simone, as hubby has a rather large disliking of cockatoos. Ever since our holiday to Hamilton Island, about 10 years ago now, they are very bold and cheeky there... and broke into our apartment on more than one occasion to steal chips and mars bars, haha! Needless to say, hubby doesn't like sharing his snacks with thieving birds. But I think these prints are magnificent, so cute. Don't think I'll be putting one up in the house anytime soon though xo

  3. It is surprising how many people have phobia's of certain birds! Cockatoos do have very sharp beaks!! Hope you didn't have to pay for their mini bar bill ;) xx
