Why is it always the way?!

Why is it that when I have made the commitment to healthy eating I seem to see so many delicious things I would like to make "one day"!!

Here a few things I have pinned this week :)

I love looking at photographs of food! That is probably why I have so many cookbooks.

I'm a bit of an all or nothing person. I am not the type to be able to have a couple of squares of chocolate and be satisfied so I would prefer to have nothing at all :)

How about you? Are you all or nothing?
Do you love looking at cookbooks?

Although in my defense some of this is research for Noah's Baptism :) Why do I always think of the dessert first?!

  1. Stick with it! The benefits of being 'good' will pay off once summer hits, I am sure :-)

  2. I'm like you. Trying hard to get healthier ;o)
I have a lot of cookbooks too and yet I really don't like cooking much. Probably because I have to.

  4. And herein lies why I just can't make the commitment Simone. I'm struggling to eat healthy at the moment. I'm addicted to icecream & chocolate, lollie's & BBQ shapes. It's terrible with Sunmer coming up too. But yes, I love looking at cookbooks & baking a fair few of the recipes too ;) xo

  6. I've sworn off chocolate until I shift the kgs I need to and so far so sood... Like you I'm definately an all or nothing kinda gal too and I'm actually surprising myself with me new found willpower and as for my cookbook collection... It's a big one! I've had to donate all of my food magazines to the preschool just so I can make room!

We can do it girl! Just replace think of food for summer and the beach!

  10. Yes that's me too, once I open a block of chocolate or a bag of chips convincing myself I will just have a little bit, I keep going back until it's all gone! No self control...although I have recently kicked all but a very occasional tea or coffee from my diet and feeling great for it. Now to apply that willpower to my food :-)
