20 things to start doing.

Nothing like a new month and season coming soon to give you some motivation :)
20 things to start doing!

Some of the ones I'm not currently doing but want to start with are:

I will have to blow off the cobwebs from my bike as I stopped riding whilst pregnant and haven't gotten back on yet. I'm looking forward to getting back on it.

I must start going to bed earlier. Once the kids are in bed I seem to get a second wind and relish my time catching up on tv shows or blogs.

I also want to start stretching daily, nothing feels better than a good stretch! I feel like my body is quite rigid and not quite right after pregnancy and birth. Also carrying Noah around and all his "stuff" is playing havoc with my back and shoulders. I know stretching and regular exercise will help fix this.

I want to wear clothes that make me happy. This will include adding more colour to my wardrobe but more importantly the body underneath needs to be worked on to make the clothes look better. This is a work in progress!

You don't need to tell me to go outside once the warmer weather is here I just want to be out and about!

Ready when you are Spring!

Which ones will you be doing?

  1. Love this list Simone!! For me, I definitely need to work on the exercise part - while it's active work chasing after a pre-schooler and bub, I haven't exercised properly since having Sophie... that's 10 months!! As soon as it warms up, I'm eager to get out walking and becoming more active. I'm also working at the moment on not buying as many processed foods, not that I buy a lot but I'm becoming more conscious of what I could and which ingredients I used where a simple switch to a product with less preservatives and additives is an easy change. And as for the last point... bring on Spring I say!!!

Sorry haven't commented a lot lately, am trying to have a little catch-up on posts now while Sophie is napping... x

  2. There are so many things on your list that I will be doing. Exercise - yes! Eating more fruit and vegies and less processed foods, definitely! Hopefully when the result of doing those two things are visible, I will be able to go and buy new clothes that make me feel happy. Stretching more - I really need to start doing this, it has been years since I could touch my toes, and I know that is not a good thing. I'm also going to be organising my house and my time better so that I'm able to enjoy playing outside with my kids more often.

  7. This list is great and achievable to! I really like the wear clothes that make you happy this is so true you feel good when you are wearing something new and that fits you nice. When I put something on now if Im tugging and pulling at it I know Im not going to feel nice in it so it goes in the bag for the good sammies - out with the old and in with the new :)

  8. This is a fantastic list! There are so many changes I need to make, too.

I started going outside more the other day when I was on study leave and it was so lovely. Just to sit in the sun with some textbooks - bliss! Now that exams are over, I need to get back in to going to the gym and stop making excuses.

  9. What a great list. And I hear you on the second wind once the kids are in bed thing! My eyes can be hanging out of my head I'm so tired but once my son is down I'm suddenly full of energy again. I guess it seems a shame to waste "me time" sleeping.
