Words.

This is my little mantra at the moment. I'm not achieving it every day but I'm trying.

I'm struggling with the exercise daily and the dance more!
It's hard to imagine ever going out dancing again at the moment, I might have to just make do with the lounge room ;)

But I love waking up every morning to a fresh start. I'm still trying to figure out the best routine to fit in everything now that Noah is here. The day seems to fly by, as do the weeks!

But I am being very "laid back" about it all which is totally not me. I must still have those happy hormones flooding my body or I've just realised to not sweat the small stuff.

Do you have any favourite words of wisdom at the moment?
Do you go with the flow or are you a bit of a control freak?

  1. It's a good quote and I agree, if you don't stick to it one day, well there's always tomorrow. I'm not great at the exercise thing at the mo but I bought zumba for Wii so hopefully that'll help with the dancing and exercise!
Hmmm, I can be rather laid back about some things eg dusting, or rather not dusting, but in other situations I can be very stubborn, or so my boss at work tells me :)

  2. Love this! Exercise & dancing can't wait, that'll all come in time. And yes, there is always tomorrow. One of my favourite quotes is Live every moment, Laugh everyday, Love beyond words <3

  3. Love it!!! When there is a new bub on the scene going with the flow is all you can do, otherwise you will go nuts!! My mantra for this year has been "Communicate, Courage & Consistancy" Its taken courage to communicate some of the things that have been bothering me & Im trying to be consistant with housework & exercise. Most days i suceed & others .....Oh well!!!
    have a great week!

  4. I have often struggled to go with the flow and could be considered a bit of a control freak. That being said, I am tweaking both of these and gradually getting better at being organised, without being obsessive and more relaxed, but still not a total Kool Kat. It's just about balance really.
You will go out dancing again Simone, give yourself some time, little Noah is still so young.
You sound like you're handling the hectic pace really well though. I can only imagine how much extra work and planning goes into having three children, I find two full on enough.
Love these words though, very inspiring xoxo

  6. I am with you! I have been a major stress-head the last week about a few changes happening in our lives and realised yesterday that it is not going to help anything by remaining in that state. Letting go is always the hardest but you enjoy life far more when you get the hang of it! Enjoy that little man while he's still so little!

  7. Love these words. My mantra at the moment is to worry less and relax more. Harder said than done but I think once your aware of a triat you have, at least you can try to make a change.
