Book suggestions anyone?

Calling all bookworms out there!
I'm looking for something new to read. I posted this question on  my facebook page and some popular suggestions were The Bronze Horseman, The Book Thief and Shantaram.

Do you have any others to add?

  3. 'One Day' by David Nicholls. You will fall in love with the characters and miss them terribly after that final page is read.

  4. I love those shelves! Those book suggestions are all great. I've read the book thief a few months ago and it's truly quite amazing. Ditto on 'One Day' too. I also love anything by Joanne Harris (of Chocolat fame). Enjoy!

  8. Gotta be: Jasper Jones. I loved this book beyond words. Also can support 1000 Homes and 'One Day' - just a gorgeous read. x

  9. If you like crime novels then I would recommend Wink Murder by Ali Knight - I couldn't put it down and ended up staying up until 3 am to finish it the day after I started it!

  10. 'Shall We Dance' & 'How to Break your Own heart' both by Maggie Alderson...I have read 'One Day' & I must say it is the only book that has ever made me cry real tears...a very moving story. I also love Marion Keyes...romantic chicklit, lovely feelgood stories.

  11. If you like fantasy, Game of Thrones by George RR Martin is excellent. It is a 5 book series, and it was turned into an HBO series as well. Fantastic. Also, The Gunslinger series by Stephen King.
