Well, since I am not going on a holiday anytime soon, I thought I would put up some images from the movie The Holiday.
You know the one with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black.
A great idea, of a last minute holiday in a place totally different than your own.
I could see the appeal of both houses, but would have to lean towards the L.A house.
I think it was the space, clean lines and of course , the weather. Did you see the movie?

i love love love "the holiday" have just bought tickets for a holiday in nz over chistmas......and i would love to do a house swap how fun would it be!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these pictures. I had never seen the bathtub in the LA home - wow! I have to admit this does sounds like an appealing idea - swapping houses. I haven't done it yet, but I am going to be doing it in September with a family friend. She is staying in my home in the small town and I get to stay in her studio in the Pearl in Portland. It sounds perfect.

ReplyDeleteI love The Holiday. Both the houses are great! I'd be happy to stay in either but being from England I'd choose the LA house as it'd be more exotic!
